You Know What Im Sayin Kid From the Millers Mp3

Movie this: You've orchestrated the perfect at-dwelling house date for your significant other, featuring candles, wine, and a lovingly home-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But just as your person texts y'all that they're on their way, you realize that you lot have no idea what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. After all, you tin't accept your early 2000s guilty pleasance songs come up on shuffle while you're trying to stare lovingly into your partner's optics (nix ruins the mood like the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the beginning of "Soulja Boy." And yes, that example is based on a true story).

Anyway, I've got yous covered with my list of the well-nigh cute, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs ever written (in my apprehensive opinion). You'll have your crush/partner/Bumble date swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Nigh romantic lyrics: "I'one thousand in your centre, I'm in your dream/ So fuck the world it's y'all and me"

Rationale: When the outside world becomes vicious, many couples turn inward and develop that us-against-the-world mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what it's like to feel close to someone, spending much of this song describing the little things he loves about his partner, similar her "stained glass" eyes, butterscotch-scented skin, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every way, and Mac delivers them with his characteristic rawness.

"These Arms of Mine" - Otis Redding

Most romantic lyrics: "These artillery of mine, they are lonely/ Lonely and feeling blue/ These arms of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting yous"

Rationale: This vocal hits me correct in the chest. Information technology's impossible not to feel your artillery and chest agonized similar Reddings' when he sings about called-for to hold his lover. The music crescendos effectually his smooth voice as he begs,  "And if y'all would permit them hold you/ Oh, how grateful I would be." It's such a sweet, hostage plea for love, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, too.

"Ex Factor" - Lauryn Hill

Most romantic lyrics: "See, no one loves you more than me/ and no one ever will"

Rationale: No 1 knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite similar Lauryn Hill does. In "Ex Factor" (and on this whole anthology, let'southward be real), she'southward vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her fellow. We recognize straightaway that her relationship is toxic, but Hill's honesty is and so beautiful that we humble listeners have no option but to sit, transfixed, and heed.

"Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

Most romantic lyrics: "Told my beloved to wreck it all/ Cut out all the ropes and permit me autumn"

Rationale: When this song came out in 2007, I was in middle school. I could not stop singing it every bit I traipsed through my house, nearly-tears as I crooned nigh "the sink of claret and crushed veneer," as though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic beloved affairs.

All the same, this song nevertheless holds upwardly. Bon Iver is a main at depicting what it'southward like to fully surrender yourself to someone while aware that they may hurt you in the end. I withal sing this song while I lounge around my petty studio flat, drawing on real-life experiences this time, though I assure yous that none of them involved claret-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, face to face/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I need y'all to love me/ I demand yous today/ Give me to me your leather, take from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its near poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself so performed information technology with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is beautiful in and of itself, just their chemistry and passion for each other makes it all the more than impactful. An ex played this for me once, unprompted, and I remember thinking, My God, dude. Why would you practise this to me?

Wrecked.

The Way You Wait Tonight" - Frank Sinatra

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never change/ continue that incoherent charm/ won't you please arrange information technology?/ 'Cause I dear you/ Just the way yous look tonight"

Rationale: Ah, yes. The vocal that plays at every nuptials on world. Popular songs are pop for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of love that information technology depicts. In addition to Sinatra's version, I'grand as well fractional to Fred Astaire's rendition in the 1936 pic Swing Time and the sweet notwithstanding tongue-in-cheek visuals go along with it.

"Everlasting Calorie-free" - The Black Keys

Most romantic lyrics: "Let me be your everlasting calorie-free/ Your train going abroad from pain/ Beloved is the coal that makes this train roll/ Let me be your everlasting light"

Rationale: If you read the lyrics without the music, the whole song sounds kind of like a late nineteenth century poem. The beloved in this song is and so pure and hopeful, and you'll definitely proceeds absurd-points by playing The Blackness Keys on a first engagement.

"To Know Him Is To Dear Him" - Amy Winehouse

Nearly romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to love, beloved, love him/ Just to run into that smile/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No one does unbridled honey like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful voice takes center stage in this Phil Spector cover, and if you're non already in beloved, it volition make y'all want to be.

"Similar Real People Practice" - Hozier

Virtually romantic lyrics: "I will not enquire you where yous came from/ I will not ask you, neither should you/ Dear, just put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should just kiss like existent people do"

Rationale: Hither, Hozier is trying to convince his love interest to forget that they both have pasts (who doesn't?) and to only love him. There'due south a sense that both people in the song consider themselves odd in some way (again, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners like each other for ages. "Similar Real People Do" reminds united states of how miraculous it feels to honey and be loved back.

"Tin can't Take My Optics Off Y'all" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Most romantic lyrics: "You're simply too proficient to be true/ Can't take my optics off of you lot/ Y'all'd exist like heaven to affect/ I wanna hold you so much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my home state of New Bailiwick of jersey: They but don't brand 'em like this anymore. And information technology's true―this song manages to rest emotional and sexual yearning without beingness rough.

And just... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings about loving his girl and so much that he thanks God he's alive. My Lord. They really simply do not brand 'em quite like this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Ocean

Most romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They fire from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my mind, boy/ Running on my mind, boy"

Rationale: This is Frank Ocean'southward most criminally underrated vocal and I will fight anyone who has anything negative to say about information technology. In fact, I in one case fabricated a very loud, spirited defense of this vocal when I was in loftier school, right after Ocean's ill-received functioning of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 motion-picture show Forrest Gump. Information technology'due south about a cleaved, tired person coming dorsum to their pure, enduring dearest after a cracking deal of time has passed. It's especially meaningful, in my opinion, because Bounding main penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Take Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Near romantic lyrics: "'Crusade I beloved you more than I could ever promise/ And yous accept me the style I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-girl dearest songs of the early 2000s, and this one was her almost pop. Michaelson rejoices in having constitute a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and purchase him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. It's a promise to love someone forever.

"I'g Non Dead" - P!nk

Most romantic lyrics: "Correct beyond the cigarette and the devilish smile/You're my crack of sunlight/ You can do the math a one thousand ways/ But you tin't erase the facts/ That others come and others become/ But yous ever come back"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk'south music. In "I'm Not Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic love vocal about being a flawed human deeply in love with some other flawed human. Waxing poetic near her and her boyfriend's (her future husband, Cary Hart, by the manner) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés about love in favor of something far more authentic and affecting.

"Hannah Hunt" - Vampire Weekend

Most romantic lyrics: "A man of faith said hidden eyes could meet what I was thinkin'/ I merely smiled and told him/ That was just true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how you wound me with your cute words! In this song, our narrator seems to be moving effectually the U.S. with his beloved Hannah until she grows homesick for the e declension. Having lived in New England for effectually seven years, I'm partial to this song for its "freezing beaches" references, only information technology's as well a gentle tribute to the manner time glides away when you're with someone you dearest.

"A Song For Yous" - Donny Hathaway

Nearly romantic lyrics: "I love you in a place/ Where there's no space or time/ I love y'all for my life/ You're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Recollect when we were together"

Rationale: There have been many versions of this song, but this i'south my favorite. It was besides Amy Winehouse'due south favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that i can't assistance but feel he's reciting a memoir when he sings his apology to a woman he neglected to settle down with because he was too busy performing around the earth.

"Maps" - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

About romantic lyrics: "Don't devious/ My kind'south your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yes, this song is 90 per centum just Karen O singing "Wait, they don't love you lot like I love y'all," merely information technology'due south so powerful! If you say something the right way, and the accompanying music is expert enough, there's no need to embellish much more. Proof: Beyoncé conspicuously nods to this song in her 2016 single "Hold Upwards." "Maps" endures, over a decade later, beyond genres.

"If I Ain't Got You" - Alicia Keys

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some just want everything/ But everything means nothing/ If I ain't got you"

Rationale: This song is all the more touching when you call back that she wrote it just as she was showtime to get famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or endless life would all mean zip if she didn't have her homo.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Slant

Well-nigh romantic lines: "I am the girl my parents made/ Why don't y'all love me anyway/ 'Cause I love the way you lot take up space"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Pb vocalist Felix Walworth delivers this song so earnestly that his voice literally cracks during that last line. I've never heard a simpler or more startlingly accurate depiction of adoration than loving the way someone takes upwardly space.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Most romantic lyrics: "To be even more than honest/ No one thinks about you/ The fashion I do" (Translated from Spanish)

Rationale: Shakira spends near of this vocal laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to make java, that she doesn't understand soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and then proceeds to ask her homo to love her anyway.

"I Establish You" - Alabama Shakes

Most romantic lyrics: "I think all them alone days/ I traveled out on my own/ Then you brought me everything/ You made my house a home"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. Then who improve to mind to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The Iv Seasons

Most romantic lines: "I'd alter her sad rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't let me/ 'Crusade they say that she's no good."

Rationale: Another Four Seasons song, yes. I'm from Bailiwick of jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional dearest for a daughter much poorer than he is, fantasizing nearly replacing her tattered clothes with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the song by crying, "I love you just the way y'all are."

He wants to give everything to someone who can offer him nada material. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving You" - Led Zeppelin

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "But infant, since I've been loving you, aye/ I'm about to lose my worried mind/ Oh, yeah"

Rationale: Man, these lyrics look then underwhelming when written down sans musical accompaniment. Information technology's tragic.

What makes this vocal so romantic, to me, is the organ and bass work by John Paul Jones pair with Robert Plant's searing vocals. It's a ability blues song that hits you correct in the gut. If desperate want were a sound, this would be information technology.

"You Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

Most romantic lines: "If you don't worry 'tour where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What lodge I went to with my homies/ Baby, don't worry, you lot know that you got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this live. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll always be loyal to him, while Black Idea (atomic number 82 MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. It's the all-time love song in hip hop, easily down.

"(Y'all Make Me Feel Similar) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Most romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and institute/ You came forth to merits it/ I didn't know simply what was wrong with me/ 'Til your kiss helped me name it"

Rationale: Nosotros should heal ourselves rather than expect around for someone to heal us, just that doesn't mean that love tin can't be a healing feel. It's really romantic to thank someone for making y'all feel good, and that'southward precisely what this song (written by the flawless Carole King) is most.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Virtually romantic lyrics: "We can't help but follow, she'south Buddha, just watch her/ She moves like an erstwhile gypsy woman but swears she's a girl/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the daughter of the hr"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this song for Jade Castrinos when they were both all the same dating and still the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The song is a quiet love letter to Castrinos―you could imagine Ebert singing it to her at night past the campfire while the balance of the band is asleep (that's this band's vibe, actually). It'southward a shame that nosotros no longer get to watch the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, only at least we'll ever have this hippie love vocal.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ You know who I am/ You know I can't let you/ Slide through my easily/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me away"

Rationale: One of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s also happened to write one of the most poignant songs about beloved and devotion. This is about a long, deep intimacy between two people, and of existence physically unable to resist the person you admire.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

Most romantic lyrics: "I would sleep better on your flooring/ Than I would ever in my bed/ And if your rug makes my face itch/ It'd notwithstanding be heaven in my head"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the in a higher place lyrics, sung with atomic number 82 singer Brian Sella's signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this girl, promising to exercise his guitar every nighttime, to sleep on her floor without complaint, and to to ignore his medico'south communication―all to win her honey. Nosotros shouldn't accept to debase ourselves for love (*rolls eyes* yeah, yeah yeah), but this is art. And if we're being honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who's prayed for their dear to be reciprocated.

"Loving You" - Elvis Presley

Most romantic lyrics: "If I'g seen with someone new/ Don't be blue, don't you be blue/ I'll be faithful, I'll exist truthful/ Always true, true to yous"

Rationale: Elvis tells his love not to get jealous or to believe the hype around him and other women, reassuring her that she's the i for him. Although multiple sources have claimed that Elvis did, indeed, cheat on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest love song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Most romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ But back dwelling house he'll always run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing almost a traveling musician who tin't become over his sweetheart no matter how many other women he meets. She always ends up resurfacing in his listen, and eventually, he ever returns to her.

"My Former Man" - Joni Mitchell

Virtually romantic lyrics: "He'south my sunshine in the morning/ He'due south my fireworks at the end of the day/ He's the warmest chord I ever caput/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, baby"

Rationale: Mitchell's soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her relationship in this song, insisting throughout that, "Nosotros don't need no piece of paper from the city hall." She's proverb that she doesn't need external validation of the relationship―this man gives her all she needs to feel secure in their bond.

"Devil In a New Dress" - Kanye Westward, Rick Ross

Most romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The way yous look should be a sin, y'all my sensation"

Rationale: Kanye West is a pretty polarizing figure, merely this is notwithstanding i of my favorite albums of all fourth dimension. It'due south a bloodshot tribute to his infamous human relationship with Amber Rose, and this song encapsulates the often-sexy, ever-complicated connection between two people who aren't good for each other, yet tin't stay abroad from 1 another.

"Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Common

Most romantic lyrics: "But that is all behind me/ 'Cause now there is no other/ My dear is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Dearest of my life"

Rationale: Conventional advice tells us to fall in love with someone who can be our  friend, also. This song is about ii lifelong best friends who find their fashion back to each other later time spent apart. With her famously beguiling vocalism, Erykah Badu captures the joy of being truly known by 1's partner.

"A Sunday Kind of Love" - Etta James

Most romantic lyrics: "I want a Sunday kind of love/ A love to concluding past Saturday night/ I want to know information technology'southward more than than dear at outset sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this point earlier. If Etta James were to have written this vocal today, she would take been explaining that she was sick of i-nighttime-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that go nowhere. She'd be maxim she was tired of sweaty strangers in bars shouting into her ear, over deafening music, request if she wants to accept a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and binge Schitt'southward Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May we all find that Sunday kind dear.

"Baby I'm Yours" - Chill Monkeys

About romantic lyrics: "Baby, I'thousand yours/ And I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky/ Yours until the rivers all run dry/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This song sounds like information technology was written in the '50s or '60s. In some means, it's your run-of-the-mill tedious song, but there's something mannerly about the Arctic Monkeys being the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Will Be Loved" - Maroon 5

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't mind spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' pelting"

Rationale:I call up listening to this song in middle school, wishing that the male child I had a crush on would love me enough to stand outside my window in the rain. In retrospect, that would take been bad-mannered and inconvenient to explain to my mother, and these days I would probably notice such beliefs creepy (when I'm in my pajamas in my flat, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the concluding affair I need is a homo standing outside, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), simply the sentiment of this song all the same stands.

"Because the Night" - Patti Smith

Most romantic lyrics: "Come on, at present, try and empathise/ The way I feel when I'chiliad in your hands/ Have my hand, come secret/ They can't hurt y'all now"

Rationale: In this vocal, which was originally written by lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he's safe with her. If you've read Smith's book Merely Kids, y'all'll probably listen to this song and think of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to it down the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Almost romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his arms/ And he speaks to me softly/ I meet the globe through rose-colored glasses" (Translated from French)

Rationale: You definitely know this song. It'southward the go-to for every romantic scene in every American motion-picture show near France. And, granted, it's a bully choice for a dinner appointment, specially if you desire to go a little ho-hum dancing started.

"Anytime" - The Growlers

Most romantic lyrics: "Just stay for i more night/ Ane day y'all're gonna be my wife/ Yous'll never have to worry again/ I'm gonna exist your man"

Rationale: Information technology sounds lead vocaliser Brooks Nielsen'due south now-wife was getting really sick of his bullshit, and that he wrote this vocal as a plea to go her to say. It's poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and information technology would have worked on me, also, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Be Nice" - The Beach Boys

Most romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't it be dainty if we were older?/ So nosotros wouldn't accept to look so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who's already sure about who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And he'southward wishing that the rest of his life could start correct now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Most romantic lyrics: "Not actually certain how to experience most it/ Somethin' in the way you motility/ Makes me feel like I can't alive without you"

Rationale: Love isn't a formula. There'southward no real logic to why we fall in love with some people but non others, and Rihanna hits the nail on the head when she says information technology's just "something in the fashion [he] motility[s]." It's reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Most romantic lyrics: "Something in the mode she moves / Attracts me like no other lover / Something in the way she woos me / I don't desire to get out her now"

Rationale:This song is a slow, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned it, writing that he wasn't sure what exactly triggered his dearest or whether information technology would grow.  All he knew was that the love was at that place, and that that should be enough.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Most romantic lyrics: "And they love each other so/ Androgynous/ Closer than we know, love each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is most two non-binary people falling in honey, which is pretty cool for a song from 1984. Our principal characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, dear each other regardless of gender. The Replacements make a compelling argument about why traditional gender roles and clothing should brand no divergence if you're truly in love with someone.

"I'll Be Seeing You" - Billie Holiday

Near romantic lyrics: "I'll find you in the morn sunday/ In every lovely summer'south day/ In everything that'due south right and gay/ I'll e'er call up of you"

Rationale: You know when you're freshly in love (or heartbroken), and everything reminds you of that person? That's what this song is near. Everything around Holiday―the natural world, a park, a cafe, a carousel―is a fond reminder of her beloved.

"Sun Candy" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Nigh romantic lyrics: "You've got to movement it slowly/ Take it in my torso similar it'due south holy/ I've been waiting for yous for the whole week/ I've been praying for you, you're my Sunday candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop collective that boasts members such equally Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the former of which is featured heavily on this song). Jamila Woods performs the chorus to this song so sweetly that information technology'due south easy to forget the sexual implications, and she and Chance tell the story of a couple that spends a week at a fourth dimension missing each other, absorbed in thoughts of one another until they're finally reunited.

"Come Every bit You Are" - Nirvana

Most romantic lyrics: "Come every bit you are/ As yous were/ Every bit I want you lot to be"

Rationale: At that place are many interpretations of what this song means, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. Simply, to me, "Come up As You Are" works as the ultimate grunge honey song; as a promise to love and appreciate someone just the way they are.

"Delight, Please, Please" - James Brown

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Baby please, baby delight, delight me/ Baby delight, baby please don't go/ Don't get, I said baby, don't babe/ I dearest yous and so"

Rationale: This song is almost entirely comprised of James Brown repeating "please," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers nearly that before its release. But, like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps," this track's magic lies in the passion with which it'due south delivered–and James Brown is nothing if non passionate.

"I Volition Always Love You" - Dolly Parton

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "And I hope life will treat y'all kind/ And I hope that yous have all/ That you lot e'er dreamed of/ Oh, I do wish you lot joy/ And I wish you lot happiness/ But above all this/ I wish you honey"

Rationale: Without a doubt, yous're familiar with Whitney Houston'southward rendition of "I Will E'er Beloved You," but I love Dolly Parton's soft-spoken, country version as well. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a bang-up alternative for when y'all want to hear this song on a quiet evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Most romantic lyrics: "And I wish you all the love in the earth/ Simply almost of all, I wish it from myself/ And the songbirds continue singing/ Similar they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac's members were notorious for hooking upwards within their ranks, and Christine McVie (writer and primary vocalizer on this song) was no exception. This is a unique love song, because it does unconditional love unlike whatever other: It illustrates how it's entirely possible to dearest someone and want the all-time for them while accepting, admitting sadly, that y'all might not exist that best affair.

"Offset Day of My Life" - Vivid Eyes

Most romantic lyrics: "Simply I realized I need y'all/ And I wondered if I could come home"

Rationale: This Vivid Eyes track makes me wish I was better at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his beloved, telling her, "I'thousand glad I didn't die before I met yous," and request for permission to approach. It's an practise in startling honesty, and the effect, like the whole album, is profound.

"Body of water of Love" - Cat Power

Most romantic lyrics: "Come with me, my love/ To the sea, the sea of love/ I wanna tell you/ How much I beloved y'all "

Rationale: Originally, the concluding vocal on this list was going to be T.I.'s "Whatsoever You Like" because I'm adamant that it will play at my wedding ceremony one twenty-four hours (I'1000 non kidding), but "Sea of Dear" is too romantic to pass up. With minimal instrumentation, Cat Ability delivers a brief but heartfelt love letter whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. ten/10.
