It's appreciated, but will probably not be necessary, since most people (especially here) probably will not effort to kickoff their ain video series on account of how hard it is and how unlikely it is that they'll actually become popular at all or be financially successful in such a saturated marketplace.

Yes I was worried well-nigh uploading anything, even my own gameplay subsequently seeing on YouTube the problems some people were having but I thought I'd put up a mail just in case anyone else was worried near it too. Thanks for the reply

If anyone is actually going to endeavor and make a living off of uploading video games to YouTube, you shouldn't exist using the Upload Studio to exercise so. These people make a living, not because of how they play, but who they are. Near of them are funny, or so people tell me. You'd really need to buy a capture card, a decent/good microphone, and utilize computer software to edit your footage. I've said this a few times, but there is nothing more than abrasive than a person using a headset equally their mic. You'd be amazed what a $10 popular filter will do.

I wasn't talking most only making money I was talking nigh uploading game footage in full general. Some people have reported to of had their game footage taken down regardless of weather they were trying to brand money from information technology. This was only a recommendation on what to do. No biggie.

Yous do have legal rights to share stuff, but you should requite credit to the owners, especially if their'due south music in it (especially in Forza Horizon ii and Square Enix games). And avert showing long cutscenes equally owners may claim information technology's theirs. But your =actual gameplay= is footage you kind of created. Also avoid swearing and screaming. I share Minecraft, Halo, COD BO2, Forza Horizon 2 videos (I mute the music), gameplay with a couple of videos with my friends playing and us chatting and playing. I do-not monitize though and don't run adds in my videos. I don't do videos to earn money. I do videos considering I want to and for fun. Some peps are really pop, some are just in it for the fun of it, some want to be professional person, well others casual.
My PVR comes with Arcsoft Showbiz 3.v and Hauppauge Capture. Simply last month I decided to use DVDVideoSoft because Showbiz 3.v uploads in 720p max resolution and you tin't upload longer than 15 minute videos using Archsoft Showbiz iii.five (and information technology has terrible frame charge per unit compared to DVDVideosoft. Avoid pasting vids to Youtube Upload's site, equally doing it that way will take at to the lowest degree 2x or more longer. I prefer using my Hauppauge HD PVR2. Even though I accept an Xbox 1 Kinect, with my PVR, there is no time limit on how long I make recordings, and it records videos of everything on the screen, in 1080p with everything in information technology, graphics, gameplay music, and it records game and party Chat too. Nigh of the videos I've seen which uses the DVR or upload thingy which Xbox one consoles have.... many of the clips are actually short with no audible game chatter from others.... just gameplay, and to me that seems a bit boring. My Hauppauge uses HDMI connexion. Microsoft hasn't encrypted it for games on Xbox i and Xbox 360. I know Sony does for PS3 so they have to utilise component cables. But it is encrypted if you play any DVD/Blu-ray movies because it's illegal to exercise that kind of thing (pirating). Merely sharing actual gameplay with just yous or you and your friends, while giving credit to the music owners and cutscene owners, and especially if you do it for fun and not money, you should exist fine. But be cautious, some music owners which license music for games are much more stricter with copyright. I got my PVR for NZ$286.twenty (RRP in NZ is $299).

I should as well mention that you can even so get a copyright claim on your videos even if you lot don't monetize them.
